Young Women's Christian CouncilToday, the YWCC is either inactive in many of our churches or it was never established. YWCC is, and has always been very active at Yeshua. We meet every third Tuesday of the month, at 7:00 P.M. in the homes of the Women Of Yeshua. The Yeshua YWCC also supports of the church financially. However, we are not simply a fund raising, report making unit. YWCC is a vital and necessary ministry within the body of Christ. Our goal is to address and minister to the specific concerns and needs of today's women and young women in the church. We know that the women must be taught how to be good Christian women, wives, and mothers. I encourage you to support your church YWCC. If you do not have a YWCC, be encouraged and remember, that no church is too small for a YWCC. Yeshua, YWCC President
Master's BuildersThe Master’s Builders are a group of holy men commissioned by God and appointed by the Pastor to tear down the walls of separation and build strong relationships through fasting, praying, and studying God’s word to show ourselves approved; through fellowship, outreach, mentoring, and through the up keep of the Lord’s house. We dedicate our lives to being armor bearers enduring hardness as front line soldiers. We belong to God and are approved for His service.
DEACONSThe Deacons are the administrative assistants to the Pastor in the matter of temporal affairs in the congregation and receive their directions from the Pastor. The Deacons receive the funds given for the support of the ministry under the direction of the Pastor, they are also lay preachers in the Church and thus are enjoined by scripture to be “apt to teach.” In the absence of Elders, under the direction of the Pastor, a deacon may be assigned to minister in the congregation. The Deacons are the spiritual assistants to the Shepherd of the Flock and their title implies “servant;” therefore, our deacons serve the congregation in temporal and spiritual matters whenever feasible and as directed by the Shepherd. |

Pews in the Street Tent Ministry
Mothers' BoardThe role and responsibility of the “YESHUA” C.O.G.I.C. Mother's Board is to help build every C.O.G.I.C. auxiliary of the Women's Department at the local, district, and national church. The Mothers' Board teaches women how to support the church, the pastor, and their families. The church mothers should have information that is readily accessible as to the functions of every auxiliary. They should be able to plan and organize the women's auxiliaries so that they are properly staffed and functioning. The Mothers' Board help to ensure that our church is a strong church, spirit-filled, and well organized House Of God. Effective mothers' boards operate under the authority d the pastor, and the officers of the church. The work of the Mother's Board does not take from the pastor, it serves to enhance our programs and help to build the Kingdom Of God .
Pastor's AideThe mission of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry is to provide quality aid to our Pastor and to ensure that any and all of his request, needs, desires, and wants, are met in a timely fashion. Our goal is to express appreciation through action, honor, and commitment. To always be mindful of supporting the Pastor’s vision by being a help and blessing to him. Usher BoardThe Usher Board serves as the pastor's personal representatives to the congregations and visitors to the church. Ushers greet people when they first arrive at church, provide assistance to people before, during, and throughout the service. An usher helps members and visitors feel comfortable by directing those in service and serves with spiritual dignity during the church service. Elder/MinisterAs men of God, the elders are armor bearers to the Pastor. We support the work of the ministry through prayer, preaching, and teaching. We support the pastor in all services, support of the congregation, and outreach as we perform daily ministerial functions and services. We are apt to teach and preach the written Word of God. We serve in support of the ordinances of the C.O.G.I.C. The Ordinances for the Church Of God In Christ are The Lord Supper or Holy Communion, Baptism, and Foot Washing services. We go out into the hedges and the highways, and as we go, we preach the Word Of God. Music DepartmentThe Music department was established to minister to the people through music and songs of faith ministered through the power of God. Our mission is to create an atmosphere that will usher in the Holy Spirit to prepare the minds of the people to receive the Word of God.
Outreach Ministries“YESHUA” C.O.G.I.C. outreach ministries include The Pews in the Street Tent Ministry, Jail Ministry, and Meals in the Park Ministry. Our outreach ministries assist the church with its mission to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, and last but not least, to preach the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bread of Life Food PantryOur non-profit organization is dedicated to aiding those less fortunate. Bread of Life Food Pantry is a community outreach program of the “Yeshua” Church Of God In Christ that provides resources for low income families in our community. We serve the zip codes in our area – 20108, 20109, 20110, 20111. We provide referrals to other community food pantries, shelters and resources that are available.
